Two ways of processing stainless steel filter etched punching mesh

Etching and punching mesh, also known as microporous mesh, is used for integrated circuit printing, fluorescent electronic grid, precision filtering, micro-electrical components, planar pins of the electronics industry, lead frames, substrates, etc. The processing technology is quite unique. Can be divided into chemical etching and electrolytic etching. The use is different and the processing method is different.

The first one is chemical etching, which uses silk screen or screen printing on the substrate to cover the parts of the substrate that need to be protected, and then etches away unnecessary metal parts by chemical or electrochemical means. Create an unusual environment that consciously oxidizes the surface of the stainless steel to a special texture. Finally, the protective film is removed to obtain an etching process for the article.

The second is that the electrolytic etching is in the salt solution, the stainless steel to be etched is used as the anode, the special conductor mold is used as the cathode, and the low-voltage direct current is applied to make the voltage exceed the dissolution potential difference of the stainless steel, so that the stainless steel body metal The electrolyte is entered in the form of ions to achieve the purpose of etching. The process is more suitable for metal forming processing. The advantage is that the processed surface can maintain the original steel property, no deformation, air pollution is small, and the parts are easy to form. The disadvantage is that the equipment investment is large, and the metal interior is prone to "hydrogen embrittlement", The heat generated by electrolysis is not easy to bring out (uneven current distribution), the distance between the mold and the part to be etched (<0.5mm) is not easy to guarantee and the scorch phenomenon is easy to occur (the depth is not easy to control), and at the same time, due to its electrolytic edge effect and corrosion resistance Layers are easy to break down and are not suitable for etching of surface images. Metal etching is the direct use of strong acid or strong alkali solution to corrode unprotected parts of the workpiece, which is currently the most used method. The advantage is that the etching depth can be shallow and the etching speed is fast. The disadvantage is that the corrosive liquid has a great pollution to the environment. Moreover, the cost of etching the punching net is also large, and it is also troublesome to process.
