Application of plain stainless steel wire mesh in printing

The structure of stainless steel wire mesh generally includes full twist, half twist, square twist and plain weave.

The mesh of full-skein and semi-skein does not move, and the texture is firm, but the yarn is thick, the color paste is not easy to pass, and the screen is easily blocked, so it is generally not used for screen printing. The plain stainless steel wire mesh advantage of texture is that the effective opening area is too large, the mesh is smooth, the color paste is easy to pass, and the graphic outline is clear, so it is more used in flat screen printing. The disadvantage of this fabric is its lower strength than other fabrics. The structure of a square organization is similar to that of an ordinary organization. Unlike ordinary weaves, the warp and weft of ordinary weaves are monofilaments, while the warp and weft of square weaves are double filaments. Therefore, the strength of this tissue is higher than that of ordinary tissue, but the effective open rate is low.

The type of mesh is indicated by the number of meshes and the diameter of the mesh. In other words, the mesh size and mesh strength are the main indicators suitable for printing. The diameter of the mesh is thick, the mesh strength is strong, and it is durable. The reasonable mesh size enables the printed mesh to provide a reasonable amount of paste and be placed on the surface of the fabric.

The name of the grid is not uniform in practical applications. For example, some technical data refers to grid screen 200 mesh, 135 mesh ... etc. , And the number of meshes in the product specifications is only 25 ~ 495 meshes. These appellation differences are not only made by the metric system and the British system, but also by the sieve on the unit area.

The number of holes depends on the number of holes per unit length. The number of line holes per unit length is actually the vertical density of the screen, which can show the density of the grid. In practical applications, it is difficult to determine which type and number of grids to use. However, no matter which name is adopted, the higher the number of meshes, the denser the meshes, and the smaller the meshes, the poorer the breathability of the printing paste. Conversely, the lower the number of meshes, the thinner the meshes, and the larger the meshes, the better the ink penetration. The diameter of the screen directly affects the strength of the printing screen and the size of the mesh.

In the case of the same wire diameter, the number of grids can be selected according to the following principles:

The outline should be smooth and clean, using a finer mesh. Instead, the ground color and block mode should select the coarse mesh (low mesh) screen.

In order to improve the rheology of printing paste, a fine mesh screen should be used. Instead, a coarse mesh screen should be used.

The hydrophobic thin fabric of the present invention is suitable for a sieve screen; the fabric with a rough surface and good water absorption is suitable for a coarse screen.
