Surface Treatment Process Of Wire Mesh

Introduction the surface treatment process of wire mesh

1. Concept: Screen surface treatment refers to the process of applying a protective metal film or non-metal film on the surface of the screen.

2. Function: anti-corrosion, anti-damage, prolong service life, decorate and beautify the environment.

3. Main methods: The surface treatment methods (processes) commonly used in the production and sales of wire mesh mainly include galvanizing (cold plating, hot plating), plastic coating (dipping, spraying, coating), oiling, and silver spraying. , painting, copper clad steel (copper-clad steel crimped wire mesh), copper plating, silver plating, etc.

Plastic coating (dipping, spraying, plastic coating), oiling, silver powder, painting, copper clad steel (copper-clad steel crimping net), copper plating, silver plating, etc.

(1) Oiling: It is a simple anti-corrosion method. It is coated with a layer of grease on the surface of some wires to achieve anti-corrosion and convenient use. For example, a black annealed wire can be called an oiled wire after applying a layer of grease on its surface.

(2) Painting: refers to the process of applying a layer of paint (or paint) on the surface of the substrate to be decorated, beautified or anti-corrosive. It includes spray paint, baking varnish, dyed paint, enamel paint, enamel paint, etc. It is relatively simple to operate, requires less conditions, and has high operability. The cost, rust and corrosion resistance of different categories are different.

(3) Copper clad steel process: can be divided into copper plating method and continuous casting method. Copper plating method, also known as copper plating process, is divided into electroplating copper and electroless copper plating. 1 Electroplated copper: similar to electro-galvanizing, it is a process of depositing metallic copper and attaching it to the surface of the screen by electrolysis. Electroplated copper has a low cost, a thin coating and a relatively poor anti-corrosion effect. 2 Electroless copper plating: On the surface of a catalytically active substance such as palladium, copper ions are reduced and precipitated by the action of a reducing agent such as formaldehyde. The advantages of electroless copper plating relative to electroplated copper are mainly a wide range of substrates, uniform coating thickness, simple process equipment, and good plating performance. 3 continuous casting method: the copper and the inner metal are completely fused, no dislocation, etc., and the anti-corrosion effect is better.

(4) Silver plating process: mainly silver plating and electroless silver plating, electroplating silver is similar to electroplating zinc, electroplating copper, and electroless silver plating is similar to electroless copper plating.
