Stainless steel wire mesh inspection method

Many customers usually have a problem after purchasing a stainless steel wire mesh. The product I bought is not the one I need, or is it the same as the one I am using, and whether the supplier has cut corners? At this time, it involves the detection of Stainless steel wire mesh. In order to allow our customers to better understand and rest assured of the use of this product, we provide the following testing methods for customers to measure. As mentioned earlier, Stainless steel wire mesh specifications include: wire diameter, mesh number, width length, material, and weaving method. The following description.

First, a formula for stainless steel wire mesh should be explained: Stainless steel wire mesh weight = square of wire diameter * mesh * width * length/2. This is the theoretical weight of the Stainless steel wire mesh. Because the weight is easy to measure and is related to both wire diameter and mesh, it is a good standard for determining Stainless steel wire mesh.

1. Measurement of wire diameter: Direct measurement of wire diameter. The measurement of the normal wire diameter requires the use of a special tool ------ micrometer (spiral micrometer). This precise measurement of the wire diameter is a conventional measure of the diameter of stainless steel wire mesh. For some large-diameter stainless steel nets, we can also use calipers for simple measurements, but small wire diameters use micrometers. In addition, due to the correlation between the thickness of the mesh surface and the wire diameter, it is also possible to measure the thickness of the mesh instead of the wire diameter as a means of detecting contrast. Taking a 300 mesh stainless steel printing screen as an example, the wire diameter is 0.035 mm and the mesh thickness is 0.08 mm. In general, the mesh thickness is twice larger than the wire diameter, but the mesh thickness is the same in the same mesh number and the same wire diameter, and the mesh thickness is relatively good for measurement due to numerical teaching. This is mainly used for Stainless steel wire mesh with high mesh number and low wire diameter. Low mesh, large wire diameter Stainless steel wire mesh is generally not suitable, it is best to measure the wire diameter directly. Finally, the wire diameter was measured indirectly by measuring the weight of the Stainless steel wire mesh. This involves the measurement formula for the weight of the Stainless steel wire mesh above, but in general the actual weight is lighter than the theoretical weight. Therefore, this method is not accurate enough, but it is also an effective detection method when the first two methods cannot be achieved.

2.Measurement of the number of meshes: The determination of the number of meshes generally has special tools: a density mirror and an eyepiece. The former generally has a higher number of measurements and the latter has a lower number of measurements. However, customers generally do not have these professional testing tools. At this time, they should use some simple methods to determine. For a mesh size of less than 100 mesh, use a ruler, and follow the longitude and warp threads. Then count the number of meshes in 2.5CM. This number is the number of meshes. For meshes above 100 mesh, this method is impractical, and in the absence of a detection tool, indirect detection of weight is required. Use the same formula as above.

3. Measure the length of the network: The tape measure is enough. The conventional width is 1 meter and the length is 30 meters. The width can be as wide as 2 meters. The length can also be made according to the customer's requirements. Usually it is 30 meters, but we still need to prevent individual manufacturers from deceiving customers by reducing the number of meters.

4.Detection of Stainless steel wire mesh material: The most important thing for the detection of Stainless steel wire mesh material is to measure the content of NI, followed by Cr and C. The most accurate is sent to the testing agency. Stainless steel can also be used to detect potions. Our Stainless steel wire mesh inspection mainly guarantees the pureness of stainless steel material from the feed assay and finished product inspection. Generally, the finished product needs to be inspected in three locations of the initial section, the middle section and the tail section to ensure the material quality. Everyone here may have a misunderstanding that magnets are not good materials, magnetic ones are bad ones. This is actually incorrect. There is no direct relationship between Stainless steel wire mesh magnetism and material.

5.Weaving method: General stainless steel net plain weave is the main weaving method. Followed by twill, mat type. The main purpose is to achieve the weaving method formed by the thickening of the mesh surface and the mesh surface. In short, stainless steel detection methods generally require more specialized tools. However, everyone can also use some simple tools or indirect means to achieve the purpose of testing quality.
