What are the factors that affect the surface quality of stainless steel wire mesh?

Some substances affect the surface quality of stainless steel wire mesh equipment and components, destroy the oxide film on the surface, reduce the overall corrosion resistance and partial corrosion resistance of the steel (including pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion), and even cause stress corrosion cracking.

Surface oil stains, rust, non-metallic dirt, low melting point metal contaminants, paint, welding slag and welding slag are brought about in the process of forming, assembling, welding, welding seam inspection (such as flaw detection, high-pressure experiment) and construction of stainless steel equipment and components. Spatters, etc. must be removed, the main purpose is to prevent corrosion and rust. Stainless steel anti-corrosion depends on the surface passivation film. If the film is incomplete or defective, the stainless steel filter screen will still be corroded.

Commonly used stainless steel meshes for acid and alkali are used for screening and filtering under acid and alkali environmental conditions, as well as for gas and liquid filtering and other media separation. Stainless steel mesh is generally made of stainless steel mesh, nickel wire, and copper wire. Stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in chemical, petroleum, power, nuclear engineering, aerospace, marine, pharmaceutical, light industry, textile and other parts.

MAISHI mainly produces stainless steel wire mesh, please feel free to contact if you have any needs.
