How to store the stainless steel wire mesh

Compared with black steel mesh and galvanized mesh, stainless steel wire mesh has stronger corrosion resistance. 316 marine grade stainless steel is widely used in coastal areas and marine environment due to its superior corrosion resistance. But stainless steel wire mesh is not absolutely not rusting.Chemical elements such as nickel, chromium, copper, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, and nitrogen in stainless steel wire mesh can affect the corrosion resistance of stainless steel wire mesh.

So how do we store the stainless steel wire mesh to prevent it from rusting?

1.The warehouse is required to be ventilated, dry, clean, and protected from direct sunlight. In the event of severe weather, protective measures should be taken to prevent the stainless steel mesh from being affected by the weather to be rust.

2.Prevent contact with acids, alkali substances or oils and organic solvents. The stainless steel wire mesh should avoid storage with corrosive or volatile products. And the temperature of the warehouse also should be suitable, generally around 25 degrees to prevent moisture.

3.Place the stainless steel wire mesh in a batch according to its material grade in order to find it. And if it is not used for a long time, it should be turned over in time.

We need to store the stainless steel wire mesh reasonably to extend its service life.
