Solution for poor adhesion of ink to substrates on stainless steel screen printing

Stainless steel screen printing, whether it is machine or manual operation, may occur because the adhesion of the ink is relatively poor. How can we solve it? The solution that can be solved is the following four points.

1. When printing on printing materials, it is very important to carry out strict degreasing and pre-treatment inspection of the printing materials before printing. When grease, binder, dust, etc. are attached to the surface of the substrate, the ink and the substrate may be poorly bonded. Insufficient surface treatment of plastic products before printing can also cause ink fixing failure.

2. As a printing material, the polyethylene strand must be subjected to surface flame treatment in order to improve the adhesion with the ink during the screen printing of stainless steel. If the metal material is to be degreased and dusted, it can be printed. After printing, it should be in accordance with the ink requirements. The temperature is dried, and if the drying process is improper, the film peeling failure may occur. In addition, in textile printing, in order to make the textile waterproof, it is generally required to perform silicon processing, so that ink sticking is less likely to occur during printing.

3. Items such as glass and ceramics must be sintered at a high temperature after printing,

so it is good if the temperature is suitable for adhesion. A simple method for determining the fastness and badness of the ink film: when the printed matter is paper, the printed surface can be repeatedly bent to see if the ink at the crease is peeled off, and if the ink is peeled off, its bonding strength is weak.

In addition, the print is exposed to the rain and the ink is easy to peel off, which is also a method to test the fastness of the ink film.

4, the ink itself does not have enough adhesion, the ink film is not fixed firmly, it is best to replace other types of ink for printing. If the dilution solvent is improperly selected, the ink may not be firmly fixed. When selecting a preferred solvent, the properties of the ink should be considered to avoid the phenomenon that the ink and the substrate are not firmly bonded.

The specific content of ink printing used in stainless steel screen printing is described above.
