Why stainless steel wire mesh shows black?

In the market, most of our clients request the supplier offer stainless steel wire mesh with bright & shiny finish. Buy why stainless steel wire mesh shows black sometimes after weaving?
Here are two possible reasons:
1. Stainless steel wire mesh consists of many different chemical elements, mainly: Chromium(Cr), Nickel(Ni), Ferrum (Fe), some material have Molybdenum(Mo), etc. In the same Fe content. if the Cr content is higher than stardard, then the mesh shows black. In similar conditions, if Fe content is higher, the mesh shows black too.

2. It is the result of thermal oxidation of stainless steel wire.
① In wire drawing process, wire drawing machine with poor lubrication which results large friction. The surface of stainless steel wire become heated that caused severe segregation of chemical elements, then the stianless steel wire mesh shows black.
② The speed of drawing machine is very high, which could also make the surface of wire heated during being drawn, resulting in thermal oxidation of stainless steel wire.
