The weaving type of stainless steel wire mesh

The weave type of stainless steel wire mesh normally can be divided into five types as follows:

Plain weave: Each weft wire passes alternately over and under the warp wire. And the warp wire has the same diameter as weft wire.

Plain weave mesh is considered to be the most stable mesh form and used in many applications throughout manufacturing industry.

Twill weave:The twill pattern follows the same principle as plain weave, but each weft passes alternately under and over two warp wires.

Plain dutch weave:Similar with plain weave, just the diameter of the warp wire is thicker than the weft wire.and the mesh size of warp and weft is different. This kind of wire mesh is strong and stable, easy to clean with a good flow rate suitable for high pressure liquid/solid separation.

Twill dutch weave:Similar with twill weave, just the weft and warp wire have different wire diameter and different mesh size. The mesh is very robust with a smooth surface and the finer weft wires and smaller pore sizes provided excellent flow characteristics.

Reverse dutch weave: Difference from standard Dutch weave, it has finer warp wires and thicker weft wire. This kind of wire mesh is mechanically strong with a high throughput and it performs particularly well in high pressure vertical and horizontal filter leaf applications.
