What are the methods of stainless steel wire mesh pickling and passivation

The corrosion resistance of stainless steel mesh mainly depends on the surface passivation film.
If the film is incomplete or defective, the stainless steel mesh will still be corroded. The pickling passivation treatment is usually carried out in the project to make the corrosion resistance potential of the stainless steel more exerted. The stainless steel wire meshes pickling and passivation, not only can maximize corrosion resistance, but also prevent product contamination and keep aesthetics.

The pickling method for stainless steel wire mesh is as follows:
The impregnation method is used for parts that can be placed in pickling tanks or passivation tanks, but it is not suitable for large equipment pickling treatment.

Brushing method Suitable for surface and local treatment of large equipment. The acid can not be recycled.

The spray method is used for the installation site, and the inner wall of the large container has low liquid consumption, low cost, and high speed.

Circulating method For large-scale equipment, such as heat exchangers and shell processing, construction is convenient, acid can be reused, and piping and pump connection circulation system is urgently needed.

The electrochemical method can be used for parts, and the surface treatment of field equipment can be more complicated by the brush method. DC power supply or potentiostat is required.
